Tragic Pro is a 28 year old Producer/DJ. Originally from Poland, he relocated to Edinburgh
towards the end of 2005. Wasting no time at all, Tragic has worked tirelessly to build and maintain
a reputation as one of the most eclectic and creative Producers on the Scottish Hip Hop scene,
with his very own hybrid style consisting of strong and intricate drum patterns blended with rare
and interesting samples and melodies. With a broad spectrum of influences ranging from early
Daft Punk to Beasties Boys to Luke Vibert (one of his biggest influences), Tragic has a limitless
creative mind, a mind that has been and will be responsible for some of the most memorable beats
to come from the Paraletic Universe camp. Through meeting DJ Sokol when they were both at
college, Tragic has been heavily involved in the scene and the label, launching the popular club
night “Dirty District” which has been a hit within the Edinburgh club scene, delivering the best in
both local and international Hip Hop to the masses.
Drawing from the energy in and around the Paraletic Universe, Tragic ignites the minds of
the masses with a heady Sci-Fi flavour and a sense of euphoria in his beats resulting in an
unmistakeable sound, making this eclectic extra-terrestrial, a key element of the label itself.
With a solo E.P in the pipeline, plus a host of collaborations with the likes of ; Mr P, DJ Blaze
and Naledi, Tragic Pro comes fully equipped with both the skill and dedication to ensure that his
audiences attention is always firmly in the palm of his hand.
