First Dirt artists Timothy Rhyme (LA) and Rymeezee (SF) have teamed up once again for this visual along w/ the First Dirt fam. Last yr, they successfully completed the FDCA State Tour covering grounds up & down the coast not to mention opening up the PAID DUES MUSIC FESTIVAL. Here’s a recap of last year’s journey & cameos by familiar faces. They hold nothing back and tell it like it is. So many artists feel the need to make claims of having things they don’t have or doing things they don’t do. Not these emcees. They’re letting the industry and the streets know to watch out. They are serious and are coming for what they rightfully deserve…your head. Brought to you by First Dirt x Heirbourne Collection.

Available iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Google Play Store , Deezer, Beats Music & other fine online retailers.

Chang Weisberg wishes to address the fans directly in this personal video. Hear the intimate, in-depth and sincere explanation on why Rock The Bells in Washington DC and New York were cancelled to the dismay of all those involved; the artists, agents, managers, vendors, but especially the FANS.

The fans are the most vital part of the festival–without your passion, energy and support, we are nothing. We are listening to your comments, learning from what has transpired, and taking it with us as we move forward. Be there with us.

Girl Talk and rapper Freeway tease new collaboration

“Mash up master Gregg Michael Gillis, better known as Girl Talk, has just announced his newest EP: a collaborative record with rapper Freeway entitled BROKENANKLES. This marks Gillis’ first EP since 2006’s Bone Hard Zaggin’ 7-inch and first major release since 2010’s All Day. Freeway, who is currently signed to Rhymesayers alongside MF DOOM, has cut tracks with big-name players in the past, including Beanie Sigel and the rap god himself, Jay Z.

The EP’s title, BROKENANKLES, is fun to pick at, especially considering the lack of further information about the EP: Is it a remark on the crossover of the two artists? Does it imply that the record will go harder than Gillis and his fans at Girl Talk shows and literally break bones on the dance floor? We’ll have to wait and see.”
